




Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support the Finance team in executing daily accounting activities and contributing to the fulfilment of administrative, legal, and tax obligations. You could be the next one! **THE ROLE** Our Junior Accountant supports the Finance team in executing day-to-day accounting activities. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager, assisting with accounting tasks, monthly financial reporting, and helping ensure compliance with administrative, legal, and tax obligations. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Record journal entries throughout the full accounting cycle, including bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and monthly accruals. * Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoice processing, payment management, and tracking of outstanding invoices. * Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and support monthly closing activities. * Collaborate on audits and documentation requests. **REQUIREMENTS** * Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field. * Prior experience in administration/accounting. * Knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan (NPGC). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). * Familiarity with Contaplus/SAGE Murano or other accounting ERP systems is a plus. * Intermediate level of English. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Highly proactive and organized individual who takes initiative on projects. * Experience working in an international environment. * Ability to prioritize tasks. **WHAT WE OFFER** * Competitive salary. * Flexible working hours — reduced Friday schedule and up to 40% remote work option. * 15 remote working days per year from any EU country to visit your family. * 25 vacation days per year plus one additional day after 3 years of service. * Half-day off to celebrate your birthday. * Private health insurance with discount. * Discounted Urban Sports Club membership. * Central Barcelona office. * Dog-friendly office. * Fresh fruit, beverages, and plenty of snacks. * Social events such as rooftop barbecues and seasonal parties. * Fantastic colleagues from around the world. * Referral bonus. **Do you have something to contribute to The Box?
