Job Summary: The R&D Development Chemist will conduct laboratory experimental work for the development, optimization, and improvement of processes, reporting to the R&D Project Manager. Positive impact on society and a corporate culture built on trust **Mission** The R\&D Development Chemist is responsible for performing essential laboratory experimental work to develop, optimize, and improve processes, directly reporting to the R\&D Project Manager on project progress. **Your main responsibilities** * Develop new processes in collaboration with the *R\&D Project Manager*, and coordinate experimental requirements arising from such development * Optimize existing processes * Set up and actively participate in strategies to resolve issues in existing processes * Maintain up-to-date and well-organized operational knowledge of the department by rigorously, accurately, and responsibly recording all experimental data and results in the laboratory notebook * Interpret, share, and discuss experimental results with the *R\&D Project Manager* * Work closely with Production during project transfer and industrialization * Maintain equipment, laboratories, and facilities in optimal condition * Properly manage the laboratory reagent and sample database * Properly manage laboratory waste * Participate in procurement of materials and reagents to ensure smooth project and laboratory operations. **Why Ferrer?** * Positively impact society * Opportunity to participate in volunteer initiatives * Corporate culture grounded in trust and responsibility * Hybrid and collaborative working model * Opportunities for continuous development and learning * Restaurant vouchers for split-shift schedules * Flexible compensation * People Support Plan (psychological, legal, and financial counseling) If you are empathetic, humble, curious, and optimistic, Ferrer is your company!
