Cooks for Flying Staff Team in Garraf and Alt Penedès
Fundesplai is seeking cooks to work as flying staff in school kitchens across the Garraf and Alt Penedès regions.
What does it mean to be a flying cook?
Each day, you will cover temporary absences in different schools within the Alt Penedès and Garraf regions. You will work Monday through Friday during morning shifts; however, the assigned school may vary depending on operational needs. Having a personal vehicle and availability to travel between municipalities within the region is essential.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure proper execution of kitchen services.
* Guarantee application and achievement of the highest possible quality standards throughout meal preparation.
* Carry out and record results of controls defined in the Preventive Plans Manual and the HACCP Plan.
* Receive and inspect orders and other supplies.
* Prepare and submit food and other product order proposals in collaboration with the Regional Kitchen Coordinator.
* Comply with all applicable occupational health and safety measures based on the workplace risk assessment.
* Correctly use protective equipment and tools provided by the employer, following the instructions received.
Requirements
\- Preferred: Intermediate vocational qualification in Food and Beverage Services, Vocational Training Programs in the Hospitality and Tourism Professional Family, or equivalent qualifications.
* Good command of Catalan and Spanish
* Certificate confirming absence of sexual abuse convictions
* Minimum one year’s experience in a similar position and in collective catering
