Boomerang is seeking a Data Protection Lawyer for a renowned law firm in its Barcelona offices. The selected candidate will provide legal advice to companies on matters related to: * Analysis of European digital legislation (AI Act, Data Act, Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, and other related regulations). * Personal data protection (GDPR, LOPDGDD, LSSI, LGT, and complementary regulations). * Drafting and reviewing privacy policies, Records of Processing Activities (RAT), data protection impact assessments, data processing agreements, etc. * Handling clients' legal inquiries. * Participating in compliance audits and document reviews. * Supporting proceedings before supervisory authorities and handling complaints. * Monitoring legislative developments and preparing legal notes and training materials. * Commercial contracting and consumer relations. * Related matters as required by the firm's needs. * Law degree (Bachelor's or equivalent). * Master's Degree in Legal Practice (Master de Acceso a la Abogacía). * Successful completion of the bar admission exam and eligibility for bar association registration. * Specialized training in data protection, technology, cybersecurity, or artificial intelligence will be valued. * Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in a law firm or legal department is mandatory. * Demonstrable experience in data protection and regulatory compliance. * Experience in technology contracting, e-commerce, digital marketing, or AI regulation will be valued.
