Summary: We are seeking a Technical Staff member for the Technical Office and Production, with experience in on-site measurements, preparation of budgets, and drafting of technical drawings for metal fabrication. Highlights: 1. Coordination and monitoring of production with workshop staff 2. Experience in full project execution, from site measurements to final installation 3. Interpretation and review of drawings using a construction-oriented approach A manufacturer of metal structures and iron/steel stainless-steel fabrication workshops seeks a Technical Staff member for its Technical Office and Workshop Production. On-site measurements (primarily civil works and real estate developments in the Barcelona area) Review of drawings with site management and technical teams Preparation of budgets based on project specifications Drafting of technical drawings for fabrication (railings, doors, grilles, fences, etc.) Coordination and monitoring of production with workshop staff Project cost control Support in preparing invoices Workshop production management for ironwork/metalwork Interpretation and review of drawings using a construction-oriented approach (not merely drafting) * 8 years of experience. Minimum 8\-10 years in metalwork, with proven on-site and workshop experience (must have managed production or installation—not office work only) * Spanish (advanced spoken, intermediate written) * Catalan (advanced spoken, intermediate written) * Competencies / knowledge: Experience in full project execution (from site measurements to final installation) Technical training in metalwork, construction, or drafting No specific higher education required if proven experience exists Autocad proficiency is mandatory Proven on-site experience and ability to take measurements (mandatory) Ability to resolve issues directly with site teams and installation crews * Availability of personal vehicle * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Other relevant information: Salary according to collective agreement
