In return, we offer the same. #### **The Role** We are hiring a **Senior Fullstack Engineer** with a strong backend foundation and a genuine passion for AI. You will own features end\-to\-end — from API design to UI — but your natural home is the server side: architecture, data, performance, and reliability. On top of that, you bring real hands\-on experience working with AI tools and a curiosity for how this technology is reshaping the way we build software. You will directly contribute to our mission of building the most innovative business management platform in the industry — and you will help us do it smarter. **The team** You will be part of a product development cross\-functional team — what we call a squad — where you will work with backend, frontend, and full\-stack developers, product owners, and more, building an epic digital product. Each squad is responsible for designing, developing, and operating all services relating to their assigned features inside the Holded platform. These can span any of our verticals: Accounting, Invoicing, Team Management, Project Management, Inventory, CRM, etc. The teams are empowered to make independent decisions, partnering effectively with product, analytics, and other areas of the business. **What you will do** * You will be hands\-on writing clean and maintainable code across the full stack, with a primary focus on backend systems built in PHP. * You will design and build scalable, performant, and reliable services and APIs that power our product. * You will actively integrate and experiment with AI capabilities — whether that's leveraging LLMs, building AI\-assisted features, or improving internal workflows with intelligent tooling. * When you have developed something, you will know how to (and you will want to) deploy it to a production environment. * As a senior developer, you will mentor other team members, and they will have you as a reference and someone to learn from. * You will actively participate in and occasionally drive architectural decisions within your squad." * You will collaborate in hiring and training technical personnel. #### **About you** * You have a solid software development background with a strong backend focus. * You have strong PHP skills (\+5 years) and are deeply familiar with its ecosystem and modern practices. * You have experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.). * You have experience using design patterns like DDD. * You use AI tooling (Claude Code, LLMs, or similar) as a natural part of your engineering workflow — not as a novelty, but as a productivity multiplier you can't imagine working without. * You have an intrinsic bias towards simplicity and a constant willingness to simplify complex systems. * You are familiar with modern and scalable software development practices. * You have working experience with React and TypeScript — enough to own frontend work when needed. * You have testing experience (unit and integration at minimum). * You care about best practices, and software maintainability is a top priority for you. * You feel comfortable working with data structures and algorithms. * You like to explore new technologies and are curious about how things work. * You know what a Git rebase is, and you are comfortable working in a large codebase with multiple team members. * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you are a great teammate with strong analytical, problem\-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. * You are proactive and enjoy taking ownership of complex challenges, driving them to resolution. #### **Nice\-to\-have** * You have worked with AI/ML APIs or LLM integrations (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). * You have experience with vector databases or RAG architectures. * But the most important thing: you are a freak like we are, you love what you do, and you want to enjoy your work while building something important. #### **What it's like to work with us** * Permanent contract * Hybrid work model * 26 paid days\-off * Flexible working hours * Short work\-day on Fridays * Free catered lunch * Continuous Training: annual budget for training for each employee * Fully equipped kitchen with snacks, drinks, and fresh fruit. * Top\-notch work equipment * Office in front of the sea with ping pong, pool table, PlayStation… * Interesting projects and a great work environment * An excellent opportunity to grow with the company * Discounts on a Gym membership At Holded, we do things a bit differently.
