***Laboratory Assistant / Quality Technician – Flavors and Food Ingredients Sector***
**Location:** Montornès del Vallès
**Contract Type:** Permanent
**Working Hours:** Part-time (75%) – Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
**Start Date:** Immediate

A family-owned company specializing in flavors, taste enhancers, and ingredients for the food industry is seeking to hire a **Laboratory Assistant / Quality Technician** to join a stable and growing project.
The selected candidate will participate in Quality Control, R\+D, sample preparation, document management, and compliance with Food Safety standards, contributing to the maintenance and continuous improvement of our processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Conducting quality controls on raw materials and finished products.
* Preparing samples for customers and internal testing.
* Supporting Research and Development (R\+D) activities.
* Managing and maintaining records and technical documentation.
* Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the HACCP system.
* Managing documentation and tracking protocols related to IFS and/or BRC certifications.
* Participating in internal and external audits.
* Supporting the Production department in order preparation when required.
* Occasional collaboration with the Warehouse department.
* Compliance with Food Safety, quality, and hygiene regulations.
* Maintaining order and cleanliness at the workstation.
Requirements
* Higher Vocational Training Certificate in Analysis and Control, Laboratory, Chemistry, Food Industry, or equivalent.
* Food Handler’s Certificate.
* Knowledge of HACCP.
* Familiarity with Food Safety Standards (IFS and/or BRC).
* Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles within the food industry.
* Ability to work in an organized and rigorous manner.
* Proficiency in Spanish, Catalan, and English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience participating in IFS and/or BRC audits.
* Knowledge of French and Portuguese.
* Experience in companies producing food ingredients, flavors, or additives.
* Teamwork capability.
* Versatile, responsible, committed, and motivated individual.
Position Conditions
* Permanent contract.
* Part-time schedule of 30 hours per week (75% full-time).
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
