Prosegur Security is opening a new selection process for the Professional Certificate in Security Guarding, which includes dual certification:
**Security Guard TIP (Technical Instruction Program)**
**Explosives Guard TIP (Technical Instruction Program)**
**Expected course start dates**: October 20 and 28.
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday. The October 20 session runs from 9:00 to 15:00, and the October 28 session runs from 15:30 to 20:30\.
**Format**: Hybrid training
* Live virtual classes from home during the scheduled hours.
* In-person classes at our training center in **Barcelona (the first two days and some additional individual days).**
**Course duration**: 3 months
**Content:**
* 277 hours of theoretical training
* 83 hours of professional practice
**Employment commitment**: Signing of an employment agreement in Catalonia at the start of the course.
**Indefinite-term, full-time contract with Prosegur Security upon successful completion of the program.**
**Responsibilities as a Security Guard:**
* Protection of property and people
* Surveillance of facilities, CCTV systems, alarms, and patrols
* Access control and identification
* Collaboration with Spanish State Security Forces and Corps

REQUIREMENTS
Availability to attend hybrid training (some in-person sessions in Barcelona).
**Mandatory**: Completion or official recognition of **compulsory secondary education (ESO) or higher studies in Spain**
**Spanish or EU citizenship**, meeting the requirements established by the Private Security Law *(consult the Ministry of the Interior’s website)*
