Description
For the Accommodation and Recovery Service for Women Experiencing Masculine Violence and Their Children (SAR) in the Gironés region, we are seeking a Social Educator.
The candidate will carry out duties in accordance with procedures and/or protocols established by the Department of Equality and Feminism. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting women throughout their recovery process following experienced violence.
* Addressing the consequences of masculine violence on the mother\-daughter/son relationship.
* Collaborating with the woman to develop the educational component of her individualized work plan and monitoring its implementation.
* Providing care for children during times when the mother is unable to do so due to training, employment, or administrative tasks.
* Accompanying the woman and her children, as appropriate, to resources within the comprehensive support network.
* Organizing SAR’s recreational activities.
**Offered:**
Work schedule: 32 hours/week
Working hours: Rotating shifts
Contract: Indefinite part\-time contract
Salary: According to the Social Action Collective Agreement
Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Education or official accreditation in Social Education. Specialized training in masculine violence, sexual violence against minors, and gender perspective is desirable.
Experience: Minimum two years of prior professional experience in this field is essential; alternatively, specialized training equivalent to the minimum required experience may be accepted.
Competency profile: We seek a candidate with strong planning and organizational skills, and a high level of commitment to improving people’s well\-being. Proficiency in office software is mandatory.
**Other requirements:**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management technology tools.
* Fluency in Catalan and Spanish.
