This position plays a key role in optimizing total cost, ensuring supply continuity, and creating business value. **What Will Be Your Mission?** ------------------------- * Define, develop, and execute the procurement strategy for assigned categories. * Optimize TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ensure supply continuity. * Ensure alignment of procurement strategy with the company’s strategic objectives. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Define and execute category strategy aligned with business objectives. * Analyze the supplier market, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and innovation. * Manage and develop the supplier panel: qualification, performance evaluation, and improvement plans—in coordination with R\+D, Marketing, and Quality. * Lead tendering, negotiation, and award processes. * Negotiate commercial terms: pricing, framework agreements, SLAs, logistics and payment conditions. * Ensure total cost (TCO) optimization. * Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Marketing, etc.). * Actively participate in meetings and presentations with external stakeholders and, occasionally, customers. * Manage contracts and ensure their proper execution. * Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, value creation, and continuous improvement. * Manage supply risks and define contingency plans. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethics, regulatory requirements, and sustainability standards. * Report results and KPIs to the Procurement Manager and, in some cases, to Global Category Managers or the Executive Committee. **What Are We Looking For?** ------------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. * Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field is desirable. * 3–5 years of experience in strategic procurement or category management. * Proven experience negotiating with national and international suppliers. * Experience in the relevant category (raw materials, indirects, packaging, services, CAPEX, etc.) is advantageous. * Knowledge of procurement strategies, sourcing, cost analysis, TCO, and contract management. * Proficiency in ERP tools (SAP), Power BI, and advanced Excel. * Advanced English proficiency; additional languages are a plus. **Key Competencies** ---------------------- * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. * Analytical ability and sound decision-making skills. * Collaborative approach and cross-functional stakeholder management. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * High adaptability to diverse environments, suppliers, and projects. **What Do We Offer?** ------------------- At Puratos, we foster diverse, inclusive, and collaborative workplaces where people can grow professionally and deliver positive impact—both for the business and for society.
