ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN At Natural Jamón (formerly Ventolà), a company specializing in the production of cured products and part of the weRfoods group, we are looking to hire an Electromechanical Technician to strengthen our Preventive Maintenance team at our plant in La Canya (Olot). Our manufacturing processes combine tradition, quality, and continuous improvement to deliver top-quality products, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and industrial efficiency. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION? Ensure the proper operation of facilities and production equipment through the execution of preventive maintenance tasks, effective incident repairs, and implementation of technical improvements contributing to production continuity and efficiency. WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES? * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and facilities. * Detect, analyze, and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic incidents. * Carry out continuous improvement activities on production lines and facilities. * Conduct diagnostics and repairs to minimize downtime. * Interpret electrical, mechanical, and technical schematics. * Record all interventions in the corresponding maintenance software. * Collaborate with Production and Quality departments to ensure proper process operation. * Participate in commissioning of new facilities and equipment. * Comply with safety, quality, environmental, and occupational risk prevention procedures. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation, tools, and workshop. * Report any incidents or anomalies detected to the Preventive Maintenance Manager. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) or Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Electromechanics, Electricity, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or similar. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance is desirable. * Knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. * Experience in welding is desirable. * Experience in the food industry is desirable. * Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. * Basic computer skills. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle to access the La Canya workplace.
