The professional will play a fundamental role in the preparation and production of pastry and bakery products, ensuring quality and food safety at all stages of the process. Responsibilities include preparing doughs—such as puff pastry and tart bases—as well as making various creams and fillings, following standardized recipes and established procedures. The candidate will be responsible for baking, monitoring times and temperatures to achieve optimal results, and performing decoration and final finishing tasks to present attractive products. Additionally, they must maintain cleanliness and order in their work area, complying with hygiene and food safety regulations, and collaborate in monitoring raw material inventory levels. The position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the daily smooth operation of the kitchen or production workshop. Initiative in proposing process improvements and adaptability to learn new techniques will be valued. The work environment is collaborative, where coordination with other team members is essential to meet production goals and satisfy customer demands. Continuous professional development in the craft is an integral part of the role, enabling the candidate to develop and refine their skills in the art of pastry making. Compensation is determined according to the applicable sectoral collective bargaining agreement, guaranteeing labor and salary conditions in compliance with current legislation. The working schedule is full-time, and immediate availability to start the position is required. The workplace is located in the city of Oviedo, requiring residence in that city or its surrounding areas to facilitate commuting. Specific pastry training is required, either through formal qualification or equivalent vocational training, along with at least one year of demonstrable experience in the sector. Practical knowledge of baking techniques, preparation of various doughs, cream preparation, and bakery production is essential. Ownership of a personal vehicle for mobility is considered a positive asset.
