Continuous training and a positive working environment. **Description** --------------- We seek to hire a professional to manage the Engineering and Maintenance department at our food production plant, with the objective of ensuring the availability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of production equipment and facilities.**Responsibilities** ------------- * Define and implement the plant’s engineering and maintenance strategy aligned with overall business objectives. * Lead, coordinate, and supervise the technical team as well as technical projects (design, implementation, improvements, or expansion). * Organize, develop, and evaluate the technical team, promoting high performance and continuous training. * Analyze and **optimize production or technical processes** to improve efficiency, quality, and costs. * Identify and implement new technologies that enhance competitiveness and sustainability. * **CAPEX/OPEX budget management and resource management.** * **Regulatory and standards compliance** for projects and operations, ensuring adherence to technical regulations, food safety, environmental, and occupational health & safety requirements. * **Technical risk management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects and infrastructure. * Design, plan, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery. * Analyze breakdowns and execute improvement plans to reduce unplanned downtime. * Manage technical suppliers and external service providers. * Prepare technical documentation and performance indicator reports. * Participate in internal and external audits (IFS, BRC, ISO, etc.). * Promote energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. **Offered** ------------- * Opportunity to join a stable project within an established food industry company. * Professional development and involvement in technical improvement projects. * Continuous training. * Compensation package commensurate with experience and merit. * Positive working environment and a strong team. **Requirements** --------------- * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * Prior experience in an industrial environment (food industry experience is advantageous). * Knowledge of industrial maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. * Proficiency in technical software (AutoCAD). * Familiarity with industrial safety regulations. * Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and teamwork capability. **Salary Range** ------------------ Compensation commensurate with qualifications, experience, and merit.
