Your key responsibilities will include: * Analyze hardware-level power requirements for equipment associated with new projects or products under development. * Perform specifications and design of power stages according to product requirements, using power diodes, thyristors, IGBTs, MOSFETs, etc. * Select driver circuits for power stages. * Design protections for power circuits. * Provide support and design cooling circuits for power stages. * Carry out and develop qualification of power components. * Evaluate market-available components considering availability, product lifecycle, and state-of-the-art technology, and select appropriate components based on required criteria. * Prepare test setups to conduct necessary verification and testing, ensuring correct design functionality. * Supervise and track prototype construction. * Conduct required tests, simulations, and validations, ensuring correct design functionality while identifying potential issues and implementing required solutions. * Prepare technical documentation and ensure its proper updating following modifications and changes. **We are looking for candidates with:** * Academic background: Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering * Professional experience: \+10 years in similar environments * Languages: English B2 * Technical knowledge: Advanced PSIM proficiency **Why choose Power Electronics?** * Flexible working hours and hybrid work model (depending on position). * Continuous training through our Corporate University. * Benefits including subsidized cafeteria, on-site gym, and personalized PEbenefits. * Flexible Compensation Plan: transportation, childcare, training, among others. * Multicultural environment with real opportunities for international growth. **Our Commitment** At Power Electronics, we promote equal opportunities, diversity, and professional development.
