Metrologist

Description

In Oviedo (Asturias), a person is sought to perform metrology tasks in an industrial environment. Main responsibilities include managing, executing, and monitoring the calibration plan, as well as coordinating with external accredited metrology laboratories. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and validating internal verification certificates, and for identifying and controlling the status of measuring equipment. A higher technical qualification in mechanical manufacturing, production programming, mechatronics, or related fields is required. Experience in metrology laboratories or industrial quality control environments is mandatory. Analytical skills to interpret external calibration certificates, assess errors and uncertainties will be valued. A valid driver's license is required to access the workplace. Employment conditions include a six-month temporary contract through a temporary employment agency, with full-time working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. Salary will comply with the collective agreement for the metal sector.
