Forklift Operator (Automotive Industry)

Description

We are seeking a forklift operator to work in Vigo within the automotive sector. This position is initially temporary, with potential conversion to an indefinite intermittent contract. The working hours are part-time, totaling 24 hours per week—specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00 to 18:00\. This is an opportunity to earn extra income while balancing work with other activities. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, handling warehouse equipment such as PDAs and radio-frequency devices, locating goods, loading and unloading trucks, order picking, and supplying the production line. Manual warehouse tasks are also performed, and the workstation must be kept orderly and clean. A valid forklift license and recent work experience are required—preferably in industrial, automotive, or metal sectors. Candidates must have their own vehicle to commute to the workplace, reside in Vigo or nearby areas, and be available to work weekends. Experience in picking tasks and familiarity with radio-frequency systems will be considered advantageous.
