At Gentis, we activate the gears toward achieving **full social inclusion**, through community action, training, mentoring, mediation, family support, and psychological and therapeutic intervention. ##### **As a Career Counselor at Gentis...** You will have the opportunity to: **Carry out actions aimed at facilitating the labor market integration of unemployed individuals** * Conduct diagnosis, information provision, career guidance, and personalized counseling * Motivate and accompany individuals throughout their labor integration process * Promote training initiatives to improve their employability * Support individuals facing difficulties in securing employment * Enhance their employability and facilitate both entry into and retention within the workplace ##### **What will you be responsible for?** * **Welcoming participants**, conducting individual and group activities, occupational diagnosis, and identification of competencies * **Promoting labor integration and job retention**, defining professional goals and individualized pathways, and accompanying job search efforts * **Mediating between supply and demand**, maintaining relationships with companies, identifying suitable job openings, and managing internships and visits to productive environments * **Evaluating occupational improvement pathways**, through personalized follow-up, program indicators, and satisfaction assessments * **Management and coordination**, including activity record-keeping, report drafting, and coordination with local teams and stakeholders * **Cross-cutting tasks**, supporting other programs, fostering internal synergies, and contributing to activity dissemination **Competency Profile** * Learning and applying knowledge * Emotional management * Communication * Self-work organization and planning * Creativity * Teamwork ##### **What qualifications are required?** Minimum qualification: Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in the Social Sector, or degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, or Psychopedagogy Alternatively, minimum of 5 years’ experience in career counseling Familiarity with the local area Experience in career orientation programs and management tools (e.g., Galileu) Staff involved in counseling and labor prospecting must hold training in gender perspective, aiming to ensure labor integration free from sexist stereotypes and aligned with the competency-based employability model.
