Packaging machinery manufacturer located in Vallès Occidental is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES * Carry out production projects defined in the work plan, coordinating and managing simple project operations. * Interpret technical drawings and diagrams. * Resolve technical issues within the department's management. * Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements for new machines, spare parts, and retrofits. * Collaborate with other departments in project development by coordinating and establishing information flows and interdepartmental relationships. Desired Skills and Knowledge: \- Minimum of five years of experience in mechanical design within the industrial sector (preferably in packaging and/or machinery). \- Degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent higher vocational training. \- Proven experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and DraftSight. \- Native proficiency in Catalan and Spanish, with B2 level English. \- Knowledge of Dynamics M365 will be positively considered. \- Knowledge of mechatronics, pneumatics, electronics, and programming will be valued. \- We are looking for proactive professionals with initiative, teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
