DESCRIPTION **We are looking for a General Warehouse Manager** **Main Mission** Lead and coordinate the general warehouse, ensuring its safe, efficient, and organized management. Lead the human team and logistics processes with a focus on **continuous improvement**, **optimization of procedures**, and **cross-departmental collaboration**. Actively participate in company projects, especially the construction and integration of a **new warehouse** that will centralize operations currently dispersed across different logistics operators. **Key Responsibilities** **Safety and Prevention** * Ensure strict compliance with safety and risk prevention regulations. * Define, implement, and supervise safe handling and storage procedures for raw materials. * Promote safety discipline and habits throughout the team, reinforcing a preventive culture. **People Management** * Lead and coordinate a team of **10 people**. * Organize shifts, assign tasks, and evaluate performance. * Drive cultural change in the workplace, sustained through the implementation of new habits and procedures. * Balance discipline, respect, and motivation in team management. **Logistics Management** * Plan and supervise **incoming truck deliveries and unloading of raw materials**. * Ensure proper receipt, inspection, recording, and traceability of materials. * Decide on **warehouse storage location** or **re-routing to external logistics operators**, based on business needs. * Ensure timely supply of raw materials to production plants. **Incident Management** * Resolve daily incidents promptly and effectively (shortages, delays, documentation errors, quality issues). * Assign clear responsibilities to the team and supervise resolution. * Prioritize decisions to minimize impact on production and internal service. **Interdepartmental Relations** * Maintain smooth communication with all departments to coordinate operations. * Collaborate closely with **Purchasing** to ensure supplier deliveries are made **on time and correctly** (proper documentation, correct labeling, condition of goods). * Serve as a liaison between raw material reception and other areas, ensuring efficiency and reliability in material flow. **Continuous Improvement and Process Organization** * Critically analyze logistical and production processes, proposing and implementing improvements. * Drive process standardization and digitalization using tools such as (ERP/WMS). * Measure results through key performance indicators (unloading times, incidents, stock turnover, productivity) and use them as a basis for decision-making. **Participation in Strategic Projects** * Be an active participant in the **corporate new warehouse construction project** integrating currently dispersed warehouses. * Contribute operational expertise in layout design, workflow, and management systems. * Participate in defining automation processes and transition procedures. * Act as a **link between daily operations and the strategic project**, ensuring real business needs are incorporated into the design.
