POSITION The Construction Manager is responsible for the technical execution of the project, including budget, schedule, and functionality, in accordance with prior engineering and environmental requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the technical execution of the project. On-site supervision of various contractors, as well as reporting to the project director and/or client. Planning on-site tasks for various contractors. Approving construction certifications. Participating in contractor milestone reviews. Supporting all qualification activities (planning, monitoring, and reporting) in coordination with quality organizations according to valid SOPs, and issuing plant documentation in accordance with plant engineering requirements. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Previous experience as a construction manager or project engineer in a technical field. **Knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry:** HVAC systems, process installations and utilities, particularly in GMP environments. **Bachelor’s degree in engineering:** chemical, life sciences, etc. Fluent knowledge of Spanish and English. Additional languages will be valued. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Adobe. COMPETENCIES Excellent communication skills. On-site leadership ability. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple significant projects simultaneously. Travel availability is required. VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE Engineering knowledge enabling independent performance of minor project calculations. Experience in healthcare/life sciences/pharmaceutical sectors. Familiarity with GMP, ISPE, FDA, WHO, and other pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations.
