Do you want to join La Fageda’s team? We are looking for a person capable of carrying out the tasks assigned to the production section, such as mixing, pasteurization, sterilization, packaging, pH control, and packing of dairy products, yogurts, and desserts. You will also be responsible for product quality, waste management, productivity, and the condition of industrial facilities—always ensuring that your actions align with the dual focus vision: productivity and care for support staff. You must be able to organize work among team members with support needs according to each individual’s capabilities, coordinating with supervisors of different sections (ice cream, dairy products, jams) and collaborating with monitors and the sociolaboral technical team.
**Additionally, you will need to:**
* Provide instructions on how tasks should be performed, assign materials/tools to team members, and supervise their work.
* Assist section supervisors and monitors in evaluating the competencies of their dependent team; interact with the supervisor and/or social monitor in cases of conflict or detection of demotivated staff, etc.
* Ensure that the Production Orders (POs) correspond to the specific production day and contain no errors; consult the section supervisor in case of doubt.
* Before starting a PO, verify that raw materials, consumables, packaging, and any other required elements are present at the workplace prior to commencing work.
* Prepare the machine or system for startup, ensuring it is clean, brought up to operating conditions, equipped with all necessary tools and fixtures, and functioning properly.
* Monitor the production process to ensure correct production cycles, temperatures, quality, and product weight.
* Ensure proper operation of the facility, promptly reporting any incidents to the supervisor.
While not mandatory, a medium-level vocational qualification in agri-food product processing and training in agri-food industries, HACCP, IFS, etc., will be highly valued. In the absence of formal technical training, a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within the food industry is required, and team management experience is advantageous.
A medium-to-advanced level of computer literacy is essential for performing these duties.
