The role focuses on logistics operations within an industrial warehouse environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for the systematic receipt of goods, verifying the integrity and quantity of shipments against the corresponding documentation. One of the main responsibilities is the correct placement of finished products within designated cold rooms or storage zones, ensuring adherence to organizational and stock rotation protocols to optimize space and maintain the cold chain when required. This task is fundamental to material flow efficiency. Additionally, the position involves conducting periodic inventory control, performing physical counts and reconciling data with warehouse management computer systems to ensure record accuracy and prevent discrepancies. Organizing the storage area—keeping aisles clear and shelves orderly—is another recurring activity that contributes to a safe and operational working environment. Participation in vehicle loading and unloading processes, using forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, completes the logistical cycle under this position’s responsibility. Accuracy in goods handling and compliance with safety regulations are key aspects across all described tasks.
