We are looking for a functional analyst for cloud developments. Ability to analyze, document, create relational data models, gather requirements, and work in Java, PHP, and mobile environments. Knowledge of relational database design, data model definition, and analysis of existing models to propose their evolution is required. Proven experience with relational databases is essential. Knowledge of software design and architecture in Java and Spring environments is desirable. Stable project at our offices in Barakaldo (post-pandemic) or fully remote at all times. Main Responsibilities * Collaborate in functional analysis and requirement gathering with the client. * Define or validate the data model for enhancements of existing applications. Experience using database clients, data modeling tools, etc. * Estimate development efforts for proposals and assist in drafting them. * Support each phase of the software development lifecycle to ensure compliance with defined procedures, processes, documentation, responsibilities, timelines, etc. * Coordinate application deployment into production in collaboration with the quality team and the client. * Act as the main point of contact with the client. Requirements * Advanced level of English, C1 or higher. * 5\-7 years of proven experience in functional analysis and conceptualization of medium to large IT projects, based on enterprise-level Java/.NET/PHP technologies, in public administration or private companies. * Must have progressed through the roles of developer, analyst-programmer, and currently be an analyst-functional or about to become one. * Strong knowledge of relational databases, including database design and querying. * Experience managing teams of developers. * Client interaction for requirement gathering, proposing solutions, progress reviews, etc. * Experience in pre-sales activities. * High teamwork ability and effective communication skills, both internally to coordinate with other team members, developers, or different profiles, and externally to properly communicate with various project stakeholders. * Results-oriented and problem-solving mindset, always seeking the optimal solution considering cost/benefit ratio. * Autonomy and leadership skills. * Knowledge of database modeling and object-oriented modeling using UML or similar is recommended. * Demonstrable knowledge of BI is recommended. * ITIL, Scrum Master, Agile methodologies certifications, etc., are a plus.
