**Main responsibilities:** * Develop the procurement strategy for assigned areas together with the area manager and implement it. * Achieve profitability targets defined for both ongoing business and new development projects, according to quality and timing standards. * Negotiate specific order conditions with suppliers, including prices, payment terms, delivery conditions, packaging, and propose awarding decisions based on quality, price, and delivery time, in coordination with the responsible person for the purchase category. * Support staff departments in preparing customer RFQs. * Provide support to production plants in supplier ramp-up processes due to quality issues or supply failures. We are looking for professionals with a degree in **Engineering**, preferably in electronics or mechatronics, a **degree** in Economics or another university qualification, fluent **English** language skills, Basque being a plus, and at least 2 years of **experience** in similar roles within an industrial company, preferably in the **automotive** sector.
