Position Summary: The Housekeeping Manager ensures immaculate and welcoming accommodations and common areas for guests’ memorable stays. Key Responsibilities: 1. Overall coordination of the housekeeping department and quality supervision. 2. Inventory and supplier management, ensuring stock control. 3. Leadership and staff training, with attention to conflict resolution. The Housekeeping Manager plays a key role in our tourism complex, ensuring that accommodations and common areas are always immaculate and welcoming. This role is essential to guaranteeing guests enjoy comfortable and memorable stays. Your main responsibilities will be: * Overall coordination of the housekeeping department: Plan and assign daily cleaning staff tasks; organize shifts; supervise compliance with the complex’s cleaning standards for accommodations, common areas, and outdoor areas. * Quality supervision: Verify accommodations are ready for guest check-in; conduct inventories of tableware, linens, and equipment; ensure cleaning and disinfection protocols are followed; identify defects and report them. * Inventory management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, towels, and replenishment materials; place orders and coordinate with suppliers; maintain up-to-date records of consumption and requirements. * Staff management: Provide initial and ongoing training for the housekeeping team; supervise performance and correct errors; support internal and external conflict resolution. * Inter-departmental coordination: Maintain constant communication with reception, maintenance, and management. * Guest service: Address guest complaints related to cleanliness or equipment; handle special guest requests; ensure a positive and comfortable guest experience. * Administrative control: Prepare reports on accommodation status, incidents, working hours, and consumed materials; participate in internal quality audits. * Operational support: Reinforce the team during high-turnover periods; assist with deep-cleaning at season end; collaborate in seasonal opening and closing activities.
