We seek a **Naval Engineer** with cross-disciplinary experience to assume the role of **Technical Design Lead** in **Defense** naval projects. You will serve as the technical reference for the project within your domain and be responsible for: * Making key technical decisions, * Integrating and coordinating design across disciplines, * Ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets, * Reporting to the Project Director. Coordination will prioritize the following disciplines: * Structures * Piping / HVAC * Electrical / Combat Systems * Equipment & Outfitting **Your mission will be to ensure design coherence throughout the engineering phases, as well as its proper transfer to manufacturing, integration, and testing, where applicable.** **Main Responsibilities** * Representing technical competence in meetings with clients, shipyards, and classification societies. * Proposing optimal technical solutions aligned with requirements. * Integrating key disciplines: Structures, Piping/HVAC, Electrical/Combat Systems, Equipment \& Outfitting. * Managing interfaces, design configuration, and changes. * Identifying, communicating, and managing technical risks. * Ensuring quality and timeliness of technical deliverables. * Establishing and applying checklists, criteria, procedures, and flowcharts. * Driving continuous improvement and innovation initiatives. * Optimizing the use of technical resources. * Responding to deviations. **What We Offer** * Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to better balance personal life. * Hybrid work model (on-site and remote). * Continuous professional development. * Competitive compensation. * Participative, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture. We love working as a team! * Being part of the place where engineers love to work **Requirements:** --------------- **Requirements** * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Naval and Oceanic Engineering (or equivalent). * +5 years of experience in naval design (civil or military), including technical coordination responsibilities. * Experience in shipyards or technical offices. * Knowledge of IMO/SOLAS, MARPOL, IACS; experience with military standards (MIL STD 901D, MIL STD 167, MIL STD 461, STANAG) is desirable. * Proficiency in engineering tools: FORAN / AVEVA Marine (E3D) / Cadmatic / NAPA/Siemens NX. * Skills: technical leadership, communication, decision-making, interface management. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in Defense projects. * English B2\+. * Knowledge of Teamcenter/PLM, Siemens NX, Rhino/Orca3D, AutoCAD. * Experience in configuration management, change control, and formal revision processes.
