Job Summary: Tragsatec is seeking Field Technicians to monitor the Iberian lynx in Andalusia, performing monitoring, sampling, and habitat characterization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diet and prey abundance sampling **Positions Available** ---------------------- 2 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of GRUPO TRAGSA, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 2 Field Technicians \- Iberian lynx monitoring in Andalusia, based in Seville. **Workplace** -------------------- * Seville **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Monitoring individual Iberian lynx using radio-tracking or camera trapping techniques. * Installation, monitoring, and maintenance of camera traps. * Identification and recording of tracks and other signs of species presence. * Diet and prey abundance sampling (censuses of rabbits and other small mammals). * Characterization of habitat potentially occupied by the species. * Collection of biological samples for genetic and/or health studies. * Support to the veterinary team in monitoring and/or management tasks related to the species. * Field data recording in field notebooks and/or digital devices. * Liaison with landowners and/or local stakeholders to promote good practices and facilitate collaboration during monitoring activities. * Field tracking and reconnaissance requiring good physical condition due to the demanding nature of the work. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through assessment tests and/or by attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. Grupo Tragsa reserves the right to request, at any stage of the process, documentary evidence supporting the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits outlined in this vacancy announcement. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Spanish Baccalaureate (BUP/CPU), FP I or CFGM, FP II or CFGS qualification (officially recognized in Spain or an equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities), or have extensive professional and/or academic experience relevant to this position (minimum 6 months). ### **Prior Experience** * Minimum 6 months of experience handling wild fauna (documentary evidence required via CV and employment record submitted with the application). **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * 6 months to 2 years of experience in wildlife monitoring (especially terrestrial mammals) (documentary evidence required via CV and employment record submitted with the application). * 6 months to 2 years of experience in identification of wild species and their tracks (documentary evidence required via CV and employment record submitted with the application). * 6 months to 2 years of experience in wildlife tracking and monitoring techniques (documentary evidence required via CV and employment record submitted with the application). * 6 months to 2 years of experience in specific fieldwork within the Sierra Morena region and other natural areas that constitute potential habitats for the Iberian lynx, demonstrating in-depth territorial knowledge (to be substantiated upon application submission). **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Temporary contract with an estimated duration of 15 months, linked to the implementation of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan or funded by European Union funds. + Full-time working schedule.
