We require a **Railway Topographer** for new projects in **Palencia**. **Responsibilities**: * Conduct topographic surveys in railway environments and associated construction areas. * Perform precise construction layout for structural and linear elements. * Monitor track geometry throughout its various construction phases. * Supervise planimetric and altimetric measurements on platforms, structures, and urban environments. * Verify the correct geometric execution of railway structures (viaducts, overpasses/underpasses, retaining walls, etc.). * Monitor and document quantitative progress of construction works. * Prepare topographic drawings, profiles, and digital terrain models. * Review alignments, elevations, and singular points in accordance with railway regulations. * Manage and process topographic data using AutoCAD, DTM (Digital Terrain Model) software, and specialized applications. * Ensure maintenance and calibration of total stations, GPS equipment, and levels. * Validate drawings and documentation provided by drafting departments or external collaborators. * Prepare technical reports on progress monitoring, measurements, and potential deviations. * Coordinate closely with the Unit Manager and construction teams for geometric decision-making. * Support the correct application of BIM methodologies when required. **Requirements**: * Technical Engineer in Topography or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction projects, preferably in civil and railway engineering. * Demonstrable experience in Control and Supervision of Linear Construction Works. * Experience in controlling structural execution. * Advanced proficiency in total stations, GPS, and levels. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, DTM software, and Microsoft Office. * Experience with alignment design software such as CLIP, Istram, or equivalent will be valued. * Knowledge or experience in BIM methodology—particularly applied to civil engineering—will be valued. **Workplace**: * Palencia. **What we offer**: * Indefinite-term contract with immediate incorporation. * Competitive remuneration commensurate with the candidate’s experience and capabilities. * Professional development within a highly specialized environment.
