##### **Are you passionate about technology, innovation, and building solutions with real impact?**
At Raona, we help companies transform how they work through **Microsoft technologies, AI, automation, and Digital Workplace.**
We have been anticipating the technological future for **over 20 years**, and today we are an international team of more than **360 people**, distributed across **Spain, Andorra, Argentina, and Colombia.**
We work with major companies across multiple sectors, developing innovative solutions that enhance people's experience, boost productivity, and deliver real business impact.
But beyond technology, there is something that especially defines us: our culture. We champion autonomy, flexibility, continuous learning, and a close-knit environment where ideas matter and people can truly grow.
If you’re looking for a place to grow, contribute, and surround yourself with people passionate about technology, keep reading.
**The opportunity**
We are seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to join our team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
You will join the Data & Analytics area as the technical reference for Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, and modern data platforms.
Your day-to-day work will combine architecture design with hands-on construction of components enabling scalable practice.
* Design end-to-end data architectures on Microsoft Fabric and Azure—from ingestion to analytical consumption.
* Build foundational technical components: accelerators, templates, demos, notebooks, pipelines, and reusable internal frameworks.
* Define architectural patterns for Lakehouse, Warehouse, semantic models, Direct Lake, pipelines, notebooks, Dataflows Gen2, and data governance.
* Establish technical standards for Fabric projects: workspaces, environments, naming conventions, security, deployments, quality, documentation, and operations.
* Technically lead implementation, migration, and modernization projects for data platforms (e.g., migrations from Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or SQL Server to Fabric).
* Make technical decisions regarding performance, cost, security, scalability, and governance. Provide technical guidance to data engineers, BI developers, and consultants during execution.
* Help consolidate a reusable technical foundation to accelerate Raona’s Fabric projects.
Participate in innovative projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and actively contributing to the evolution of solutions and processes.
**What we’re looking for in you**
We’d love to meet you if you have:
* Technical expertise: Senior-level experience designing and implementing production cloud data platforms.
* Advanced, demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or the Azure Data ecosystem. Hands-on ability to build solutions using Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, notebooks, semantic models, and Power BI.
* Solid understanding of modern data architecture: medallion architecture, dimensional modeling, data marts, historization, and incremental loads.
* Experience optimizing performance and cost (Direct Lake vs. Import, partitioning, incremental refresh, DAX, capacity management).
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, and ALM practices. Bonus: Snowflake, dbt, Microsoft Purview, legacy environment migrations, Microsoft certifications.
* Soft skills: Autonomy and sound technical judgment to make and defend architectural decisions. Ability to act as a technical reference and guide other profiles. Clear communication of technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
And above all, if you’re someone eager to learn, contribute ideas, and continue growing within the tech world.
