We seek someone with similar experience, working as part of a team and supporting our spaces and our students. Responsibilities:
This is a summary of what you’ll do:* Manage maintenance of our spaces.
* Fulfill planned and reactive maintenance requirements in line with any service-level agreements (e.g., repairs); perform frontline maintenance and assist specialist contractors when needed.
* Carry out manual tasks, support waste management, decoration and small-scale repairs, grounds maintenance, and assist the residence team in delivering any other required maintenance services.
* Conduct periodic health and safety checks under the protection plan—including fire safety and risk assessments, and legionella testing.
* Ensure 24/7 safety of our spaces and maintain an up-to-date log of all events and incidents.
* Support our Yugoers team. Assist with key tasks during summer turnover, summer business operations, or ensuring the building is ready for new student registrations.
* Support customer service and cover reception when required.

* Teamwork experience.
* Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* User-level proficiency in MS Office and online systems/databases.
* A trustworthy, responsible, friendly, and approachable person.
* Also desirable:
+ A relevant trade (carpentry, electrical, plumbing…)
+ Customer service experience.
+ Experience working in student accommodation or a similar sector.
+ Intermediate level of English.
