Join the **Beach Centre team**, an information, meeting, and training space for all those interested in Barcelona’s coastline and related topics. This centre offers a wide range of activities — from exhibitions, workshops, guided walks, storytelling sessions, visits, performances, discussion forums, and games, to information services and consultations on the coastline, as well as free lending of sand-based games, among others. **Where will you work?** At the **Barcelona Beach Centre** (Somorrostro Beach). **What type of contract do we offer?** Fixed-term discontinuous contract starting **1 April 2026\.** **What will your working hours and schedule be?** **(Two different shifts/options):*** Part-time schedule covering **weekends and holidays of other educators**, plus biweekly meetings. * Tuesdays to Fridays plus rotating weekends. ### **What will be your duties and responsibilities?** * Respond to citizen **information and consultation requests**. * Provide **information**, manage **bookings** and **registrations**, and energize the centre’s educational activities. * Lead **guided tours** of the centre’s exhibitions. * Manage and **coordinate activities** carried out with collaborators. * Support the **coordination of conceptualization, implementation, and evaluation tasks** for the activity programme, services, resources, and the centre’s outreach and networking plan. * Support the **preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports**. ### **Who are we looking for?** * A candidate holding a Higher Education Degree, Vocational Training qualification, university degree, bachelor’s degree, or diploma in **environmental sciences, biology, education, or social sciences.** * Between **1 and 5 years’ verifiable experience** in environmental education and/or communication for sustainability. * Additional qualifications as a **leisure activity leader**, and advanced user-level computer skills in **Microsoft Office** (Excel proficiency) and image processing are valued. * Mandatory **Catalan C1 certification**; **English B1 certification** is desirable. * Submission of a negative criminal record certificate for sexual offences.
