Responsibilities ISPROX is currently recruiting an IoT Software Engineer for a growing technology startup specializing in IoT solutions for the energy and industrial sectors. We seek a candidate with a solid foundation in software development, and above all, with interest and experience in IoT, cloud environments, architecture, and cloud service deployment. We do not seek a purely frontend or SaaS profile, but rather someone who understands how to connect software with devices, sensors, and industrial systems. What will you do? * Develop and maintain software services for an IoT platform. * Participate in designing scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud architectures. * Work on deploying services on AWS. * Integrate and consume REST APIs and backend services. * Collaborate on IoT device management, sensors, and fleets of connected devices. * Work alongside software, firmware, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between the platform and devices. * Contribute to continuous platform improvement by providing technical insight, autonomy, and judgment. Requirements * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. Industrial Engineering with software/IoT experience is also valued. * Minimum 2–3 years of software development experience. * Practical experience programming software for IoT environments, sensors, connected devices, or industrial systems. * Experience with AWS and cloud/SaaS architectures. * Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript. * Experience with React. * Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and backend services. * Interest in architecture, deployment, scalability, maintainability, and security of cloud services. * Sufficient English proficiency to communicate with international clients and external teams. * Autonomous, proactive, hands\-on individual with enthusiasm for emerging technologies and artificial intelligence. Highly desirable * Experience with cloud IoT platforms, especially ThingsBoard. * Experience with SCADA or industrial environments. * Experience with AWS IoT, telemetry, monitoring, device management, or sensor fleets. * Experience working closely with firmware, hardware, or electronics teams. Offer **Hybrid position:** 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with flexibility. **Location:** Barcelona / Vallès Occidental. **Indicative salary range:** €30\.000–€35\.000 gross per year, depending on experience.
