Description
We are seeking a Yoga Instructor to join the Physical Activity and Health Program of Roda de Ter. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading yoga sessions aimed at improving strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and physical and emotional well-being of participants, promoting a safe, mindful, and group-level-adapted practice. We seek a responsible, empathetic individual with a vocation for promoting physical activity and healthy habits.
\- Conduct yoga sessions adapted to participants' levels and needs. \- Plan, prepare, and deliver sessions according to the established schedule. \- Guide postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques, fostering physical and emotional well-being. \- Ensure correct exercise execution and adapt them when necessary to guarantee a safe practice. \- Encourage participation, motivation, and healthy lifestyle habits. \- Monitor participant attendance and report any incidents occurring during program delivery. \- Coordinate with the Sports Department and the service manager. \- Ensure proper use of equipment and municipal facilities. \- Comply with protocols and guidelines established for the Physical Activity and Health Program.
* Experience: 1 year. A minimum of one year's experience teaching yoga classes is required. Experience leading adult groups, as well as the ability to adapt sessions to different participant levels, needs, and capabilities, will be especially valued.
* PROFESSIONAL SPECIALIZATION QUALIFICATION
* Competencies / knowledge: Particularly valued:
\- Valid registration in the Official Register of Sports Professionals of Catalonia (ROPEC). \- Verifiable experience teaching yoga classes. \- Additional specialized training in yoga, functional anatomy, biomechanics, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, physical activity and health, or related disciplines. \- Training in first aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. \- Ability to adapt sessions to different participant levels and needs. \- Communication skills, empathy, group facilitation, and teamwork. Submission of certificates verifying training, professional experience, and ROPEC registration will be positively considered.
