MACHINE OPERATOR / LOADER OPERATOR (UNDERGROUND MINING)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Machine Operator / Loader Operator (Underground Mining) to operate heavy machinery, perform loading, transportation, and unloading of materials underground in mines, conduct daily inspections of machinery condition and report incidents, strictly comply with safety and occupational risk prevention regulations, and collaborate with the technical team on operational tasks within the mining operation. Collaboration with the technical team in mining operations We are seeking a Machine Operator / Loader Operator (Underground Mining) to operate heavy machinery (e.g., wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, or other similar equipment), perform loading, transportation, and unloading of materials underground in mines, conduct daily inspections of machinery condition and report incidents, strictly comply with safety and occupational risk prevention regulations, and collaborate with the technical team on operational tasks within the mining operation. Formal training or certification in operating heavy machinery is required. Demonstrable experience as a machine operator / loader operator in industrial or mining environments, including underground mining. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to high-risk environments. Ability to work in a team, responsibility, and commitment to safety. Possession of a disability certificate equal to or greater than 33% is considered an advantage. A permanent full-time contract is offered with rotating shifts every 15 days: Morning shift: 6:40 AM to 2:10 PM; Afternoon shift: 2:40 PM to 10:10 PM; Night shift: 10:40 PM to 6:10 AM. Workplace: Súria. Gross monthly salary: €2500. Demonstrable experience as a machine operator / loader operator in industrial or mining environments, including underground mining. * Diploma or Technical Engineering degree * Competencies / Knowledge: Training or certification in operating heavy machinery is required. Demonstrable experience as a machine operator / loader operator in industrial or mining environments, including underground mining. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to high-risk environments.
