The role: ### **Practical Information:** ### **Location: Santiago de Compostela or León | Work Model: Hybrid | Contract Type: Full-time | Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.** We are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer for Google Cloud Platform to join our Infrastructure department. We are looking for someone passionate about their work, quick to learn, and experienced in working with infrastructure in cloud and/or on-premise environments. Preferably accustomed to working in diverse environments serving multiple clients. **Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with the infrastructure team to migrate workloads to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) from on-premise or other cloud environments. * Participate in all phases of migration projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, delivery, and ongoing maintenance. * Implement new projects and solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD, DevOps) tools. These projects will cover resource governance, networking, security, scalability, load balancing, storage, backups, and virtual machines — all optimized for GCP. * Establish and maintain comprehensive observability solutions, integrating logging, monitoring, and tracing to ensure the health and performance of workloads on GCP. * Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems and data within GCP, ensuring business continuity and data integrity. * Continuously pursue training and certifications across various GCP services and components, such as architecture, data and storage management, networking, and multi-cloud solutions. What we expect from you: **Requirements:** * Experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions in the cloud. * Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, development environments, and team-based collaboration. **Highly Valued:** * Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS/Azure. * Google Cloud Platform certifications.
