In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers, participating in the entire development lifecycle to ensure quality from day one. **What You Will Do** -------------------- * Design, execute, and automate backend and end‑to‑end tests using Java and JavaScript, ensuring the quality and stability of developed services. * Validate data‑processing microservices architectures, including Spark‑ and Cloudera‑based components, as well as Kafka integrations and data consolidation/transformation checks. * Perform and analyze performance tests using JMeter, identifying improvement areas, detecting potential bottlenecks, and producing detailed technical reports. * Manage and document the full testing lifecycle using Xray: test case design, sprint execution, incident tracking, and functional/technical certification of releases. * Collaborate continuously with development, business, and monitoring teams, providing technical documentation in English and defining validation procedures for deployments to production environments **What You Bring** ------------------ * Strong technical skills in Java and JavaScript, with proven experience in test automation using the Karate framework to ensure backend service quality and consistency. * Solid knowledge of backend ecosystems and data‑driven environments, including Kafka integrations, Spark‑based pipeline development and validation, and experience with data‑management platforms such as Cloudera. * Demonstrated experience with quality assurance tools and methodologies, particularly continuous integration with GitLab, performance testing with JMeter, and test lifecycle management using Xray. * Ability to develop supporting automation scripts in Python to streamline tasks and support various testing frameworks. * Excellent communication and documentation skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams, business areas, and international stakeholders in agile environments.
