Full-time position with flexible working hours **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Laboratory Technician to provide technical support for an important Public Administration project in Madrid. **Work Location** -------------------- * Community of Madrid **Responsibilities and Tasks** ---------------------- * Receive and register samples upon arrival at the laboratory; inspect for possible anomalies and document and notify them accordingly to enable process improvements. * Perform pre-aliquoting tests on samples: pH and density measurements. * Distribute aliquots according to requirements for each matrix type. * Prepare standards. * Carry out and record established verification, maintenance, and calibration operations for equipment. * Store prepared aliquots under specified conditions for each matrix type. * Record all data related to performed operations in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring full traceability of activities. * Manage documentation. **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Candidates must substantiate fulfillment of requirements and/or merits by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the application questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request supporting documents for information declared in the application at any stage of the selection process, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Spanish-recognized FP II or Higher Vocational Training Cycle qualification in the professional families of Health Sciences, Chemistry, Food Industry, Safety and Environment, Agriculture, and/or Maritime-Fisheries. ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Eligibility to formalize a training contract aimed at acquiring professional practice associated with the qualification required for this position (i.e., no more than 3 years have elapsed since completion of the qualification, or 5 years if a disability certificate is provided; and no prior training contract linked to the same qualification has been executed for longer than 6 months). **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Languages** * English Level: B1 ### **Prior Experience** * 1 day to 3 months of experience in sample reception and computerized registration (professional and/or academic) * 1 day to 3 months of experience in pre-aliquoting sample testing and aliquot distribution according to requirements for each matrix type (professional and/or academic) * 1 day to 3 months of experience in computerized use of the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) (professional and/or academic) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Availability for occasional weekend work **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + 6-month contract with possible extension for another 6 months, if applicable. If a training/practice contract is formalized, the candidate’s qualification must be directly related to the duties of the advertised position, enabling performance of tasks appropriate to the qualification and acquisition of professional practice commensurate with the level of studies completed. + Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. + Flexible morning and afternoon working hours.
