Manage Teams, Projects, and Vendors MISSION Lead Santalucía Group's technological transformation in Hybrid Cloud (Public Cloud and On-Premises Infrastructure) and DevOps, aligning with existing strategic guidelines, regularly reviewing and updating the strategy, ensuring timely and proper execution of related initiatives, and maintaining and operating corresponding technological platforms. Actively collaborate with other Infrastructure and Operations teams (Corporate Applications and Operations, Databases and Backup, Operations, Systems Support and Security, Communications) and IT in general (Enterprise Architecture, Development, Channels and Customers, Analytics Center of Excellence, IT Governance) to achieve defined objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES In the Cloud domain, lead the strategic guidance outlined in the Journey to Cloud program, consolidating and accelerating cloud adoption and realizing the multi-cloud strategy, supporting the Group’s multi-core strategy. Ensure and update the strategy in parallel with infrastructure adaptation to existing requirements for agility, security, availability, performance, capacity, and continuity, always balancing this with the need for operational excellence and efficiency. This operation is based on the IaC paradigm, implying a set of solutions and processes that must be maintained and evolved. In the DevOps domain, lead the strategic guidance outlined in the New Business Core Program, for which the DevOps strategy must address environment management and software deployment needs across various formats (PaaS/SaaS services and lightweight services), balancing large-scale, parallel development with production stability. Organize the Cloud & DevOps area, establishing quality standards for it, adapting departmental policies to its scope of activity and ensuring compliance, as well as leading collaboration with other key IT and Business areas. Lead the definition/evolution of strategy in Hybrid Cloud and the DevOps ecosystem, aligned with existing strategic plans and objectives (Journey to Cloud, New Business Core), and ensure its proper implementation and adoption. Establish, monitor, and control objectives and budgets for the Cloud & DevOps technology area, including both operations and maintenance of current systems and services (BAU) and the Transformation Plan. Manage the Cloud & DevOps area, including team management, vendor management, project (and program) management, service and contract management, ensuring timely and compliant progress in line with quality standards and corporate policies. REQUIREMENTS Required Qualification – Technical Engineering / Mid-level Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. **Professional Experience:** Extensive experience managing objectives, budgets, and technology areas, leading strategic transformation initiatives in complex corporate environments. Proven track record in leading and coordinating internal teams—both technical and project-focused—as well as managing projects, programs, and services, including highly organizationally complex environments. Demonstrated experience in defining, implementing, and monitoring technology strategy—including master plans, business cases, and roadmaps—with special focus on Journey to Cloud programs and platform modernization. Leadership in cloud adoption and migration initiatives, covering all phases of the Journey to Cloud: assessment, target architecture definition, migration, modernization, and operations. Experience in vendor management, contractual negotiation, and tendering processes, coordinating strategic technology partners. Regular collaboration with Executive Committees and C-Suite, aligning technology strategy with business objectives and facilitating executive decision-making. Technical experience administering and implementing hybrid cloud solutions, with proven expertise in public clouds (preferably Microsoft Azure), on-premises infrastructures, and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes). Experience managing operations services, defining and evolving operational models focused on reliability, scalability, and risk control. Leadership in Platform Engineering, designing and evolving internal platforms that standardize infrastructure and cloud service consumption, with an operations approach based on code (IaC and GitOps). Focus on Developer Experience (DevEx) through creation of self-service portals, service catalogs, reusable patterns, and delivery accelerators. Experience automating event-driven operations, as well as defining and operating automation offices. Managing software environments and deployments in large-scale transformation programs, especially in highly regulated contexts. **Technical Knowledge:** **Cloud:** Microsoft Azure as the preferred platform, oriented toward hybrid environments, enterprise platforms, and large-scale operations. **Containers:** OpenShift / Kubernetes for workload execution and standardization across cloud and on-premises platforms. **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Terraform, Ansible, and Python applied to infrastructure and platform provisioning and operations, covering Day-0, Day-1, and Day-2 scenarios. **Virtualization:** VMware vSphere in enterprise environments and integration with hybrid architectures. **Operating Systems:** Windows Server, Linux (preferably SUSE), and AIX, with knowledge of their ecosystems of management, configuration, and control tools. **Project Management Methodologies:** Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and PMP, applied to projects, programs, and technological transformation processes. **Service Management:** ITSM / ITIL methodologies, oriented toward operations service management, continuous improvement, and risk control. **Software Environment and Delivery Management:** GitOps- and Gitflow-based methodologies and practices, focusing on operational reliability, automation, and reduction of manual intervention. **Desirable Technical Knowledge:** Amazon Web Services (AWS). CI/CD solutions (GitHub/BitBucket, Nexus, Jenkins/Tecton/Azure DevOps). **Storage:** Block, file, and object storage, preferably using HDS (Hitachi Data Systems) technology. **Hardware (HW) Management:** Preferably based on Cisco (computing and networking) and IBM Power technologies.
