To achieve this, the Impact team drives an agenda of applied research: it develops studies, analytical models, and use cases that enable a deeper understanding of reality, needs, and behavior of entrepreneurs; guide the value proposition; and support their socioeconomic progress. The team operates at the intersection of data, customer knowledge, commercial strategy, and experimentation. Its purpose is not merely to measure impact, but to use evidence to design solutions, test them in the field, and facilitate the integration of those generating value for customers and the business. **About the job:** This position offers the opportunity to apply advanced analytics to one of the key challenges of financial inclusion in Latin America: helping millions of entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses, improve their financial resilience, and generate sustainable well-being for their households. The selected candidate will combine Data Science, innovation, customer knowledge, and social impact methodology, directly participating in the creation and validation of solutions. **Role objective:** Design and develop analytical models, studies, and pilots to increase the social impact of the FMBBVA Group, enhance the value proposition for entrepreneurs, and accelerate sustainable business growth. The selected candidate will transform customer, business, and territorial data into concrete decisions, interventions, and solutions. They will work from identifying a need or hypothesis through model or pilot design, execution, and evaluation for scaling. They must collaborate closely with teams responsible for data, commercial operations, technology, finance, and risk to ensure solution quality, viability, and sustainability. Key responsibilities: *1\. Customer knowledge and applied research* * Design quantitative studies to understand the economic, social, and business reality of entrepreneurs served by the Group. * Analyze customer evolution over time and identify patterns related to their growth, resilience, vulnerability, formalization, digitalization, and well-being. * Analyze information from surveys, interviews, commercial interactions, digital channels, and transactional behavior. * Formulate research questions and hypotheses that can translate into commercial decisions, new products, services, or service delivery models. * Combine transactional, financial, sociodemographic, geographic, and survey- or other customer-listening-source data. * Translate complex statistical results into clear, actionable conclusions for business teams. * Develop and improve corporate impact measurement methodologies. * Contribute to generating and disseminating knowledge on financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and social impact. *2\. Development of commercial and impact models* * Design models (e.g., time series, segmentation, estimation) to identify distinct entrepreneur profiles based on needs and anticipate relevant behaviors. * Design recommendation systems and next-best-product, service, content, or action models. * Develop tracking indicators to analyze value generated for customers and the institution. * Incorporate geomarketing and spatial analysis techniques to identify commercial opportunities, service gaps, and territorial needs. * Evaluate new data sources to improve model performance, reach, and explainability. * Ensure models are robust, interpretable, and usable by teams. *3\. Preparation of analytical information: data quality and model maintenance* * Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to ensure integrity, consistency, and traceability of used information. * Build and maintain analytical datasets appropriate for models, studies, and pilots under responsibility. * Define specific quality controls for variables and sources used in analyses. * Collaborate in evolving the corporate information repository and integrating new sources. * Participate, when necessary, in initiatives related to the corporate information system, data architecture, or data migration. * Document data, variables, methodologies, and assumptions employed in models. * Design dashboards and monitoring tools to visualize commercial and impact indicators. * Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses linked to strategic decisions or priority initiatives. * Present results to technical teams, business areas, and management bodies. * Explain model implications, limitations, and potential uses in simple terms. This responsibility does not entail assuming operational execution of monthly workloads or general maintenance of the data platform as the primary function. **Professional profile:** Work permit for Spain Experience * Approximately five years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Customer Analytics, Business Intelligence, Econometrics, or related fields. * Experience developing advanced analytics projects from problem definition through implementation or business adoption. * Experience working with complex databases and large volumes of information. * Experience building models applied to customers, products, marketing, commercial strategy, or impact evaluation. * Experience designing and analyzing pilots, experiments, or use cases. * Ability to lead workstreams and coordinate projects across different areas, countries, and business units. * Experience in the financial, microfinance, insurance, fintech, consulting, or high-customer-base sectors is especially valued. * Interest in and commitment to the social sector. Education * University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or related disciplines. * Postgraduate education in Data Science, Econometrics, or Impact Evaluation is valued. Technical knowledge * Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL (or similar languages); experience with R. * Experience developing clustering, classification, regression, recommendation, and time-series models. * Knowledge of machine learning techniques and model validation. * Experience in feature engineering, data processing, and analytical dataset construction. * Knowledge of statistical inference, econometrics, and hypothesis testing. * Experience working in cloud environments and with corporate data platforms. * Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases. * Advanced Excel skills and ability to prepare executive presentations. Valued additional experience: * Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, or impact evaluation methodologies; * Knowledge of geomarketing, geographic information systems, or spatial analysis. * Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or equivalents.
