Project Manager - Retail

At Grupo Planeta, we are looking for a **Project Manager \- Retail** for our Casa del Libro division. Your mission will be to plan, coordinate, and execute bookstore opening and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with technical, architectural, and brand standards. You will manage construction works, coordinate suppliers, budgets, and store concept design to guarantee a customer experience consistent with Casa del Libro. What would your main responsibilities be? * **Project Planning and Design** + Develop project plans: scope, timelines, resources, budget. + Design layouts, measurements, and blueprints (including furniture, lighting, and customer flow). + Align design with retail strategy, operations, and customer experience. * **Construction and Renovation Management** + Select suppliers and coordinate technical teams. + Supervise on-site execution and regulatory compliance. + Ensure occupational safety during execution. * **Financial and Documentation Control** + Prepare budget comparisons. + Monitor expenditures and implement corrective measures. + Manage permits and technical documentation. * **Internal Coordination and Communication** + Align progress updates with Retail, Marketing, Operations, and stores. + Ensure visual concept implementation during openings. * **Innovation and Continuous Improvement** + Research new design trends, materials, and efficiency solutions. + Propose continuous improvements in ergonomics, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. What would we like to see on your CV? * Minimum education required: University degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or equivalent qualifications. * 2\-3 years of proven experience in a similar role. * Additional training: Project Management, Retail Design, Commercial Interior Design, Construction Management. * Tools: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Microsoft Project. * Demonstrable experience in store openings, renovations, supplier management, and budget management.
