Apply today! **Job Details** =============== **SUMMARY** This daily role involves the efficient collection and delivery of various temperature-controlled packaging materials and other items that may be critical due to their required temperature configuration or sensitivity to temperature exclusion, requiring the use of a light vehicle—typically over short distances—but occasionally involving long-distance travel that may require overnight stops. You must be capable of preparing and taking responsibility for packaging at any required temperature during initial processing, and ensuring proper operation of storage facilities, cold rooms, and cleaning of all associated equipment. The company within the Cencora group is World Courier, which provides top-tier logistics services for the biopharmaceutical industry. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Collect and deliver goods as specified in each order. * Assist with loading and unloading to ensure goods are correctly positioned. * Verify all documentation for each shipment and ensure it remains attached to the packaging at all times, confirming that the address matches both on the documentation and the package, and that the number of pieces is accurate. * Plan pickup/delivery routes, requesting assistance from the Dispatcher or any OPS team member if necessary. * Keep the Dispatcher/OPS team member informed about the progress of deliveries/pickups or any delays that may occur. * Use communication equipment safely to maintain contact with the Dispatcher/OPS team member (Dash). * Drive safely and take care of the company vehicle. * Complete daily and weekly vehicle inspections for the assigned vehicle and submit them weekly to your Manager along with the corresponding time/km sheets. * Report vehicle maintenance needs and any incident/accident involving the vehicle. * Demonstrate initiative and anticipate potential issues arising during deliveries/pickups. * Prepare shipping packages as required. * Request additional tasks during periods of lower daily activity. * Perform airport-related tasks per instructions (including import and export). * Work weekends and nights during on-call periods. * Wear the work uniform while performing duties and ensure it is worn correctly and maintained in optimal cleanliness and appearance. * Keep assigned training up to date relative to job responsibilities. * Clean reusable packaging and place it in the inventory control area for inclusion via X\-Act. * Manage stock levels of packaging, temperature conditioners, thermometers, GPS devices, or any other items required for various types of pickups. * Supervise the driver team with direct reporting to Supervisors/Dispatchers. * Organize the warehouse activity area to ensure smooth shipment flow. * Keep Dash credentials updated and make optimal use of the app for comprehensive tracking of shipment status. . **EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Category B driving license * Valid ADR certification **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS** * Proven competence in daily driving. * Familiarity with the metropolitan area. * Professional, friendly, and proactive interaction with customers. * Strong understanding of cold chain management and hazardous goods shipments, with meticulous attention to detail. * Ability to anticipate problems that may arise during pickups/deliveries. * Customer orientation and ability to deliver excellent service. * Teamwork skills and ability to foster a positive working environment. **\*\*\* Please note this is a temporary full-time onsite role.\*\*\*** **What Cencora offers** ======================= Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
