We are seeking a Permitting Specialist whose main responsibilities will be: Develop and execute project permitting strategies, ensuring timely and efficient acquisition of all required authorizations and permits through coordination with authorities, consultants, and internal teams. Plan and manage project permitting phases aligned with EXOLUM’s investment portfolio. Ensure all permitting-related work is executed on time and to specification, within budget, and fully compliant with EXOLUM standards and Spanish and European legislation. Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team from various departments involved in multiple concurrent projects or construction works at any given time. Profile we seek Industrial, Mining, or Civil Engineer (Roads, Ports and Waterways). External Project Management certification is ideal. 5 years of proven experience leading complex permitting or administrative authorizations within the Oil & Gas sector. Experience working for companies operating multiple facilities and pipelines. Advanced level of English, demonstrable. Regulatory knowledge related to permit applications. Negotiation skills with public administrations and regulatory bodies. Project management expertise. Knowledge of Oil & Gas legislation. Ability to prioritize and manage one’s own workload. Effective listening and efficient communication at all levels. Planning, organization, and resource management. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others. Valid Class B driver’s license.
