We are seeking a **Metrologist** with experience in **Plastic Injection in the Automotive sector for Palencia.** **Responsibilities** * Perform dimensional and geometric verification of large-sized injection-molded parts using advanced metrology equipment. * Validate first-off parts, short production runs, and mold changes prior to full-scale production. * Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other metrological inspection equipment. * Analyze dimensional deviations and prepare technical conformity and nonconformity reports. * Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Process teams to resolve dimensional issues. * Define inspection methods and measurement plans according to customer specifications and technical drawings. * Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment. * Participate in capability and repeatability studies (MSA, R\&R). * Document results and ensure traceability of measurements. **Requirements** * Technical education in Metrology, Mechanical Manufacturing, Industrial Quality, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of metrology experience in industrial environments, preferably in plastic injection. * Solid knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation, geometric and dimensional tolerances (GD\&T). * Experience measuring large technical parts. * Proficiency in operating coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and metrology software. * Technical rigor, attention to detail, and work autonomy. **Languages** * English: basic–intermediate technical level for documentation interpretation—valued. **Workplace** * Palencia. 100% on-site. **Offer** * Permanent contract and competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Advanced technical environment with large-format machinery. * Initial outsourcing project with subsequent direct employment. * Direct participation in critical product validations. * Professional development within the quality and metrology area.
