Summary: This role involves managing and coordinating all environmental, health, and safety activities within an industrial plant, focusing on prevention, risk assessment, and continuous improvement. Highlights: 1. Manage and coordinate EHS activities in an industrial plant. 2. Lead continuous improvement projects and EHS Kaizen Events. 3. Develop and update occupational health and environmental management systems. **Summary** ----------- Performing the tasks of an environmental, health and safety technician. Management and coordination of all EHS activities of the industrial plant located in Cervelló (Barcelona). **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** ----------------------------------------- * Collaborate in the programming of preventive activities and in the definition of EHS objectives. * Coordinate workplace risk assessments and machine risk assessments. * Management and leadership of continuous improvement projects. * Management of EHS Kaizen Events and Brainstormings. * Conducting EHS inspections. * Analyzing and making proposals for corrective and preventive measures arising from the various EHS activities (risk assessments, EHS inspections, hygiene measurements, etc.) and following up on their implementation. * Management of waste collections, as well as loading and unloading of dangerous goods (ADR). * Identification and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Prepare briefing notes, awareness roll ups, internal communications, as well as update daily EHS indicators. * Collaborate in the completion of the DARI, DAE and ADR Safety Advisor report, and in the evaluation of environmental aspects. * Management of medical and skills reviews received. * Carrying out Emergency Plan updates * Manage the elaboration and updating of documentation of the occupational health and safety management system, and of the environmental management system: procedures and instruction sheets. * Collaboration in the realization of the evaluation of environmental aspects. * Management of environmental improvements arising from the company's Environmental Committee. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Superior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (with the 3 preventive specialties/disciplines). * PRL regulations and main associated RD. * Basic knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. * Valuable knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement. * Languages: English (intermediate level). * Office automation: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet. **Education and/or Work Experience** ------------------------------------ **Technical Skills/Physical Requirements** ------------------------------------------
