Description
This position involves the manufacturing and machining of metal parts using multi-spindle lathes. The selected candidate will be responsible for machine setup, including loading raw materials and performing basic programming of cutting parameters. Continuous equipment operation is essential to maintain production line productivity, ensuring adherence to established sequences and cycle times. An integral part of the job is basic preventive maintenance, covering routine machine cleaning and visual inspection of key components such as cutting tools and workholding systems. This helps prevent unplanned stoppages and ensures safe and efficient equipment operation at all times. Collaboration with other team members—such as operators of adjacent machines and maintenance personnel—is essential to resolve operational issues and optimize workflow. The environment is dynamic and requires constant attention to operational and safety details. This role directly contributes to mass production processes, where precision and consistency are critical values. Work is performed in an industrial workshop adhering to strict safety and quality protocols, forming part of a broader manufacturing process.
The position includes a gross base salary compliant with the national minimum wage, supplemented by a night shift premium. Working hours correspond to the night shift. The workplace is located in an area with good accessibility and transport connections.
A vocational training qualification (FP) at intermediate or advanced level in Mechanical Manufacturing is required. Practical knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances applied to machining is mandatory. Prior experience of at least four years operating mechanical lathes and performing general precision mechanical work is highly valued.
