Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and autonomous extrusion operator for a plastics industry company, responsible for preparing, starting up, and monitoring extrusion lines, as well as supervising product quality and resolving incidents. Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards We need a person to work as an extrusion operator in a plastics industry company located in Castellar del Vallès. Duties include material loading and unloading, preparation and startup of extrusion lines (parameter adjustment, mold or die head changes), and process control by monitoring temperatures, pressures, speed, and dosing. The operator is also responsible for feeding machinery with virgin or recycled raw materials, supervising final product quality (thickness, color, texture, strength), and making real-time adjustments to maintain process stability. Other tasks include detecting and resolving line incidents, performing format changes, cleaning equipment, completing production and quality records, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Additionally, the operator must adjust parameters according to variations in recycled material, among other duties inherent to the position. Working hours are full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, afternoon shift from 15:00 to 00:00, with legally mandated breaks. * Prior experience operating extrusion machines is desirable. * We seek a dynamic individual capable of working autonomously. * Residency near the workplace is advantageous. * A vehicle is required for commuting. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and/or Catalan. * Forklift Operator License.
