




Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Documentalist to manage, organize, and conserve the institution’s documentary and artistic archives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaboration in the management and conservation of documentary and artistic archives. 2. Organization, cataloging, and updating of physical and digital archives. 3. Support for internal and external archive inquiries. Art Foundation – Barcelona (On-site) Start Date: March 15, 2026 As an art foundation headquartered in Barcelona, we seek to hire a full-time Documentalist to join our team. The selected candidate will collaborate with the team on managing, organizing, and conserving the institution’s documentary and artistic archives. **Requirements** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in the cultural sector (museums, foundations, galleries, art centers, or related institutions). * Demonstrable experience in archive management and organization. * Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and English. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously. Archival training, documentary management, art history, or related fields will be considered an asset. **Main Responsibilities** * Organization, cataloging, and updating of physical and digital archives. * Management of documentary databases. * Coordination with the curatorial team. * Support for internal and external archive inquiries. * Supervision of documentary conservation protocols. **Conditions** Full-time indefinite contract (40 hours/week; 2-month probationary period). On-site work in Barcelona. Expected start date: March 15, 2026\.
