The professional in this position will be responsible for the overall operational functionality of machinery and facilities at an industrial plant during the night shift. Their primary role is to ensure maximum availability of production equipment by performing diagnostic and repair tasks for various types of failures. These interventions cover electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults, requiring agile and effective responses to minimize unplanned downtime.
In addition to corrective tasks, they will be responsible for the methodical implementation of the established preventive maintenance plan, both on production lines and across the factory's general facilities. This includes performing adjustments, calibrations, and fine-tuning of equipment to ensure optimal conditions at the start of the next production shift. The role also requires continuous improvement, proposing technical innovations that optimize industrial processes, increase energy efficiency, and strengthen safety standards throughout the plant.
The job requires rigorous documentation of all interventions in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), as well as clear and complete handover of information to the incoming shift. Concurrently, absolute commitment to compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations, industrial hygiene, and food safety standards is essential, maintaining a safe working environment fully aligned with current legislation.
The company offers an indefinite and stable employment contract from day one. Onboarding includes an initial training and integration program conducted during morning or afternoon shifts to ensure thorough familiarity with the plant before assuming the final night shift. Working hours consist of a fixed night shift, with a competitive salary commensurate with the candidate’s competence and experience, including corresponding financial supplements for night work.
A Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or an equivalent technical qualification is required. Practical proficiency in industrial electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics is mandatory; knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and frequency inverters is considered a strong advantage. A minimum of two to three years’ experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting is required; prior experience in the agri-food or meat-processing sector is especially valued.
