At our offices in **Girona**, we are seeking to hire a **Social Intervention Teleoperator** to provide telephone-based support and handle emergency situations within the telecare service.
**What will you do in this role?**
**Emotional support and assistance to service users**
* Make calls to offer **active listening**, emotional containment, and basic guidance.
* Participate in awareness-raising campaigns focused on well-being and emotional health.
**Emergency response and management**
* Receive and respond to emergency alerts via phone call or telematic platform.
* Apply intervention protocols, ensuring **humane treatment**, quality, and confidentiality.
* Accurately record information in management tools.
This position is ideal if you wish to develop key social-sector competencies: crisis intervention, emotional management, effective communication, and decision-making.
**What do we offer?**
* **Temporary contract until 30/09/2026**
* **40-hour weekly schedule.**
* **Rotating shifts:**
+ Monday to Friday: 9\-17h, 15\-23h, or 13\-21h.
* **Salary:** **€1,271.41 gross/month** \+ **2 extra payments** (summer and winter)
**The ideal candidate**
We seek a socially sensitive, empathetic person eager to learn — ideal for those currently studying **Social Integration** or related fields. Any experience in person-centered care, internships, or volunteering will be valued.
We seek candidates with skills such as **active listening** and the **ability to remain calm** during emergencies. Strict adherence to protocols and collaborative teamwork are essential. We value a **proactive attitude**, oriented toward **emotional support** and users’ well-being.
**Key skills and experience**
* Minimum education: **Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)** or equivalent.
* **Native or bilingual Catalan** (mandatory).
* Desirable: currently pursuing or having completed a **Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification** in the social or socio-health field, especially **Social Integration**, **Care for Dependent Persons**, or related disciplines.
