We are looking for a communicative, proactive, autonomous, and team-oriented individual to join our accounting and tax department in Girona. Your main responsibility will be managing daily accounting and tax tasks for our clients, including recording journal entries, filing tax returns, providing ongoing advisory services, and handling various administrative duties. You will serve both private individuals and companies, including a portfolio of foreign clients. We offer the opportunity to join a company where you can grow both personally and professionally. • Manage corporate accounting (invoice registration, bank transactions, depreciation, etc.). • Design, implement, and monitor accounting transactions and processes. • Review accounting closings and prepare financial forecasts. • Prepare and file taxes and tax returns, including the Spanish VAT SII system. • Prepare annual accounts and draft monthly financial reports. • Manage treasury operations and prepare budgets. • Respond to any notifications from the Spanish Tax Agency. • Carry out various administrative tasks related to the department. * Minimum 2 years’ experience. • Experience: At least 2 years in an accounting advisory firm or audit firm, managing corporate accounts in positions of similar responsibility. * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Education: Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Accounting, or related field. • Languages: o Catalan and Spanish (spoken and written, B2 level or higher). o English: advantageous. o French: advantageous. • Technical knowledge: o Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or similar is highly valued. o Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Office applications. \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Desired profile • Organized, proactive individual capable of working under pressure. • Disciplined professional with a strong service orientation. • Team player able to assume responsibilities in a dynamic environment. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Additional information: If you have experience in accounting and taxation and are seeking a stable role within an established advisory firm, we look forward to receiving your application!
